Hard Floor Restoration & Care | Serving Hinckley & the Midlands
We specialise in restoring Wood & Natural Stone floors, Tile & Grout cleaning, Amtico care, and all hard floor services. We restore & polish Wood & Stone worktops and many more surfaces
Following our previous showcase of the stunning maple floor, we're delighted to present the exquisite Old English oak flooring throughout Higham Hall.
The project required a two-man team to meticulously sand and refinish approximately 144 sqm of flooring, employing a rigorous restoration process to achieve the results on this historic floor.
The restoration involved several stages:
✅ Progressive sanding – Working through various grits to remove the existing coatings and prepare for refinishing.
✅ Dust-controlled sanding – Using our professional sanding equipment with H-class dust extraction to capture fine wood dust and maintain a cleaner working environment.
✅ Water popping – Raising the grain to help the oak develop greater depth of colour before the oil was applied.
✅ Oil finishing – Applying Arboritec Miracle Oil, a two-component, 100% solid oil that enhances the natural timber of the oak while providing a durable, protective finish.
With the right preparation and finishing system, worn wood floors can be restored. We'll help you choose a suitable finish, select the right products and understand how to care for your floor after restoration.
Thinking about restoring your own wood floors? Whether you have solid oak, parquet, pine or another type of timber, we can assess its current condition and recommend a suitable sanding and refinishing system.

Not every worktop needs replacing when it starts to show signs of wear.
We recently restored this quartz worktop in Stafford, addressing minor scratches and improving the overall finish.
It’s easy to assume a scratched worktop needs replacing, but in many cases, restoration is worth exploring first. Every surface is different, but where the damage is suitable for repair, it can be a great way to keep your existing worktop rather than go to the expense of a new one.
Restore, don’t replace ♻️
