This is just the beginning of the restoration journey for this Victorian tiled floor in Hinckley...
The first stage involved carefully stripping away the existing coatings, followed by a deep clean, neutralisation and adequate drying time before applying Faber P147+ to help protect the floor while maintaining its breathability.
We'll be returning in September for the next chapter of this project, sourcing and installing reclaimed Victorian tiles to replace damaged and missing sections and help restore this beautiful floor to its former glory.

Earlier this year, we began a project to revitalise the travertine floors in Bruntingthorpe with careful repairs, replacements and restoration.
Months later, we returned to continue the restoration across the remaining travertine floors.
This time, no repairs or replacement tiles were needed. Instead, the focus was on a thorough deep clean of the travertine and grout lines, removing the build-up of dirt that had accumulated over the years. Once cleaned, the floors were neutralised to reset the surface before being sealed to help protect them going forward.
With every area now restored, the floors flow beautifully throughout the home, with cleaner grout lines, refreshed stone and one very happy customer 💚
